What makes me uniquely qualified, you ask?  I did my training at R.M.I.T. in Melbourne, then known as the Phillips Institute, and qualified in 1987.

In those days, in addition to the clinical internship with the university, chiropractic students were required to undertake an externship programme with established chiropractors that used a variety of different approaches to delivering chiropractic care. My externship was based in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand and upon completing this I worked as an associate for 18 months at the clinic I undertook my externship programme at. I went on to open my first health centre in Northcote on the North Shore of Auckland, approximately 15 kilometres from Auckland Central City.

In 2000, my family and I migrated to Perth where I started working in practice with Dr Gerald Ivory, Chiropractor based in Victoria Park, Perth, WA.

Following approximately 3 years working within the Victoria Park community, I moved to Applecross where I also worked as an associate for 9 years at another chiropractic clinic.

In 2008 my wife and I purchased premises on High Road in Riverton, which we renovated and started as a part time practice until 2012 when we opened our doors full-time.

While treatment styles need to be adapted to individual situations – there is no patient, be they young, elderly, male, female, pregnant, fit athlete, unfit, office worker, tradesman, ambulatory or wheelchair bound that cannot have chiropractic care.

With all my years of experience and knowledge in a wide variety of treatment options enables me to adapt care to individual needs and problems.

Chiropractic care can benefit patients at all stages of life and with many different problems, however in our practice we most frequently see people suffering with pain and discomfort.

My wife and I have 6 children and all have benefited from chiropractic care during their lives.

I frequently use an Activator Tool where extremely gentle care is required, and have a keen interest in techniques done by hand.  Where appropriate I recommend stretching and stabilisation exercises to complement the effects of chiropractic care and reduce the risk of relapse while increasing mobility between adjustments.

I look forward to being of service to you and your family.  It is my desire to help you improve your situation / problems with safe and natural chiropractic care.
